**Please note, the image you see here is NOT my boat. I'm just using it as a placeholder until I can get pictures of mine posted. However, my boat looks nearly identical to this one**
-1998 Sunsetter LX, direct drive -Hour meter says 1252 hours. It's closer to 1000-ish hours though. When I brought my boat in to have the steering cable replaced a couple years ago, it had 800 hours. When I got it back, it had about 1000. I'm pretty sure the dealer didn't put 200 hours on the boat replacing a steering cable. -Wedge, flat style -SV23 Wake hull -350 Monsoon motor, fuel-injected -Spare 3-blade prop -Monster Tower -Sunbrella bimini -Tandem axle trailer w/ surge brakes
New (or recently replaced) parts: -OJ 3-blade prop, CNC milled (need to get exact specs) (2 seasons old) -New vinyl on rear seat, sides, and passenger seat (installed last year) -Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro (installed last year) -Sony Marine head unit with pre-outs (2 seasons old) -Onboard battery charger (2 seasons old) -New starter motor (1 month old) -New alternator (2 months old) -New drive belt, raw water impeller, and spark plugs (new this season) -New Malibu cover, customized for Monster Tower (installed last year) -Two sets wakeboard racks (new this season) -New plug wires, cap/rotor, fuel filters (last year) -New exhaust tubing (from manifolds to mufflers) (2 seasons old) -Sound deadening on motor box (installed last year) -New bunk carpeting on trailer -New steering cable (see above ) (2 seasons old) -Pop-up cleats (install last year) -New shaft nut packing
The bad: -Gauges stopped working this year, except the PP and depth gauge. Should be an easy fix -Rub rail is a bit rough -Boat needs a good detailing. Will most likely do that before it's sold.
I also have parts for a ballast system and tower speakers I've been accumulating that would go with the boat. For the ballast system, I have thru-hulls, 3 way switches that match the existing switches, a 700 lb bag for the rear, a 350 lb sac for the ski locker, tubing, connectors, 1100 GPH (fill pump for rear bag), 750 gph (drain for rear bag), and two 550 gph pumps for fill/drain on locker sac.
The tower speakers, I have the 6.5" housings with JL speakers installed. I've been shopping for an amp and will likely get one before the boat is sold.
Since I've owned the boat, it's been meticulously maintained by myself. I've winterized and tuned it up, annually. Changed the engine oil/ oil filter and tranny fluid every 100 hours. However, it is a 10 year old boat. It does have a few dings here and there. But for the first time boat owner or someone looking to downsize, this would be an excellent buy.
I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I'll be able to get some this weekend. |
