Will the WaveControl System Fit on My Boat?

We designed WaveControl to work on nearly any inboard (direct drive or v-drive) boat. There are some limitations due to the amount of space that is required to mount the Go Surf Assist tabs, but as long as you have enough room for the tabs themselves to be mounted, WaveControl will work on your boat. If WaveControl can't be installed on your boat we'll pay for the return shipping, so there really is no risk.

What is included?

WaveControl is a complete solution utilizing marine grade components that are manufactured specifically for use in this harsh environment. We included everything needed for installation of the system: Port and Starboard Patent Pending Go Surf Assist Tabs 2x Lenco Short Throw Marine Actuators 1x WaveControl System Controller 1x Integrated WaveControl Master Controller 1x Full Plug-and-Play Wiring Harnesses with Smart and Safe Connection 1x Wireless Waterproof Remote 1x Installation Pack (all required hardware and fasteners including marine adhesive)

Installation?

Each WaveControl system comes with detailed installation instructions and a mounting template for the Go Surf Assist tabs and the WaveControl Master Controller. The typical installation takes less than four hours and can be completed with basic power tools. If you want to complete the installation yourself we include lifetime technical support with each WaveControl System. If you don’t feel comfortable doing the install please contact us and we can put you in touch with the registered WaveControl dealer in your area.

Do I still need ballast with WaveControl?

Yes, WaveControl, or any surf system, is not a replacement for ballast. We still need to weight the boat to increase the displacement of the hull. The advantage of WaveControl is that the boat can be weight symmetrically, with weight evenly distributed on both sides of the boat. That means more total ballast for a bigger wave, as well as a safer more convenient boating experience because the boat is perfectly level.

Should I be concerned about hull or transom strength?

The size and mounting system of the WaveControl tabs are designed to put less force on the transom of your boat than two adults standing on the swim platform. If you're comfortable with people standing on the swim platform, your boat will be fine with WaveControl installed.

What happens if a control box upgrade comes out?

Buy with confidence. Our future-proof guarantee gives you peace of mind. If we upgrade the control box system all you have to do is send in your old one and we will upgrade you to the latest WaveControl software.
